       This band consisted of Eric Shipman(vocals) , Eric Ashley(vocals and lead guitar), Ryan Palumbo(bass guitar), and Glenn Asnoe(drums). All of them are Frankfort natives. 

It's a bird... it's a plane... No, it's the next generation of Punk Rock! Nothing Special (Eric, Ryan, and Glenn) is a CNY based group and is quickly rising to the top of the indy-punk scene. If you've been to one of the shows you know that NS if the shiznit-van-fizzle! Playing covers like you've never heard them, you'll find yourself crapping your pants with amazement at their preciseness and cream-filled center. It doesn't stop there, NS will rock you with originals too. Led by atomic lyrics and backed up with an earth-shaking sound, you'll fall on your ass. Nothing Special formed late September 2001. After 3 years, a couple name changes, and a lot of Red Bull, they're still here to rock your freakin' socks off. Ironically, Eric was going to play bass in another band, while Ryan was to play lead for Trax. We're lucky things didn't end up that way, perhaps the talent we see now would have never existed. We're also lucky that Glenn gave up his promising kazoo career to play the drums, oh the humanity!
